Do Golf Clubs Fit in a Tesla Model 3? (Summar)

As one of the world’s most valuable carmakers, Tesla has marked a new era of automobiles with the Tesla Model 3. It’s the “cheapest” Tesla you can buy today, and although not the best performing, it offers exceptional range and an insanely smooth ride at a reasonable price.

When I was looking at the 2022 version of the Tesla Model 3 online, the first thing I thought of was, “Do golf clubs fit in a Tesla Model 3?” It’s smaller than the Model X, the Model Y, and even the Model S, so I had doubts.

The Tesla Model 3 is quite roomy in terms of trunk space. It offers 15 cubic feet of cargo space, on par with most standard-sized sedans. It’ll fit a carry-on bag and even a staff bag with plenty of room to spare.

But it depends on the bag type and other things, so let’s discuss.

Do Golf Clubs Fit in a Tesla Model 3?

With a starting price of roughly $47,000, the Tesla Model 3 boasts comfort, quality, and functionality. It’s one of the best fully autonomous sedans on the market, with phenomenal fuel efficiency, swift acceleration, and smooth handling.

Performance aside, the Tesla Model 3 is also loved for its spacious truck space. In fact, it’s believed to have the most cargo space than any other five-seater sedan in its price range. It has a cargo volume of 19.8 cubic feet, including the sub-trunk storage area, and 15 without.

Tesla 3 is available in various colors, including Black or Red Multi-Coat, Deep Blue Metallic, Midnight Silver Metallic, and Pearl White Multi-Coat.

But that’s not all. You can expand the trunk space to 43 cubic feet by folding the rear seats!

On top of that, it has a front truck of 3.1 cubic feet. You can use this space to store your extra gear, like golf balls and shoes.

With all this in mind, there’s no doubt that you can fit several golf clubs in the Tesla Model 3’s trunk, as perfectly demonstrated by the YouTube channel Tesla Life

In the video, he was able to fit four golf bags without the driver in the boot of his Tesla car. His drivers had to be removed from the bag, but they can still fit inside the trunk if placed at a slight angle.

Another great thing about the Tesla Model 3 is that it has a “hidden” storage area when you open up the truck’s flooring. Like the frunk, you can use this area to store any of your golfing needs, like a rain jacket or a first-aid kit.

What Types of Golf Bags Can You Fit In a Tesla Model 3?

Golf bags measure between 35 to 50 inches, depending on the type.

The Model 3 is spacious enough to fit in most types of golf bags, including carry-on bags, stand bags, and cart bags.

Staff bags can also fit inside a Model 3, but only if placed at an angle. So, if you’ve yet to purchase a golf bag, I recommend getting a carry bag, a stand bag, or a cart bag instead of a staff bag.

If Golf Clubs Fit in a Tesla Model 3, so Can Your Golf Bags!

Staff Bags

Staff bags are large and bulky, measuring up to 50 inches tall and 15 inches wide, so you can only put maybe two of these bags in the trunk without folding the seats down. If you’re okay with folding the seats, you can fit up to four staff bags in the Model 3.

Carry Bags

Carry bags are specifically designed to reduce the strain on your back as you walk, which is why it’s so lightweight and slim. They’re made of nylon, plastic, and other light materials instead of leather. It’s large enough to fit up to 14 clubs and several golf balls but nothing else.

Cart Bags

Cart bags are heavier and larger than carry bags, but it’s a great option when you have a ton of equipment.

These bags are designed to be carried on a trolley or a golf buggy rather than lugged around on the shoulder, so they’re fairly big. Still, they can fit a Model 3 without too many issues. You can store as many as three without the trolley and two with the trolley.

Stand Bags

Stand bags can likewise fit in a Model 3. They’re not much bigger than carry bags because they’re made for golfers who tend to carry their clubs around while walking the course. They’re light enough to carry and spacious enough to store most of your golfing equipment.

As the name suggests, these bags have a built-in mechanism that allows them to stand by themselves. You can fit up to four standard-sized stand bags in the back of a Model 3.

Can the Tesla Y Cater Golf Clubs fit in the back?

When I bought my Tesla Y, I found out that just like the Tesla Model 3 it can also fit my golf clubs at the back without any problems. So, if you’re looking for another electric car model, Tesla Y could be a perfect option.

Can You drive The Tesla Model 3 in the snow?

Yes. It’s three all-wheel drive (AWD) makes it easier for you to drive through the snow rather than using the rear-wheel drive (RWD). You can also purchase extra winter tires for more snow driving experience improvement!

Conclusion

The Tesla Model 3 is a brilliant, all-around vehicle for casual and professional golfers. It’s practical, high-tech, and supremely sophisticated with its ultra-modern interior and exterior.

Best of all, it has plenty of storage space, both in the front and the back. You can comfortably store your golf clubs in the back of the trunk with plenty of space to go around.
